The most adorable child's l870's hat of tan straw and peach flowers,
brown velvet rosettes, ruched brown velvet in front and brown velvet edges the straw.
A large velvet bow in back and velvet ribbon ties. A tiny peach feather with a tiny bird
perched on top of the hat. The silk lining has splits ,but appears to be stable
and a couple of small breaks in the straw, but still in good condition.

	This adorable cotton baby gown is pristine. The ruffled neckline and sleeves are lace trimmed. It measures 24" across chest, but has so many gathers from the yoke in front and back that allows for much more room. 33" length 8 1/4 sleeves. One button under the collar with a 5"opening. 	Young lady's early 1900's dressy dress, embroidery and lace and cutwork on front bodice, the focal point being the cape-like flounces over the shoulders which repeat the embroidery. Long sleeves have wide embroidery cuffs with lace trim. The skirt is gathered at waist, two wide tucks at hemline. Buttons in back. 	Early Victorian era gown for a young girl. Bodice entirely ruched and has double gathered ruffles at neck, lace edged. Lace flounces at shoulders. Three tiers on long sleeves, elevated waist, extremely full gathered skirt. 30" chest, 14" across shoulders, 43" long. Some old repairs in the fabric and a hole that needs mending at lower back of skirt. A small faint stain in front and in back, overall not very noticeable. 	Rare vibrant purple Victorian velvet suit for a small boy. Don't see many of these!The little guy who wore this jacket and knickers must have felt very proud! The jacket has wide scallops all around, the pants have ornate buttons on legs and a pocket on each side. The lining is beige cotton, jacket lining in blue cotton. Very good condition with slight rubbing of the velvet at shoulders and a 5" split in center back of jacket needs to be stitched. 23" waist, jacket length is 12", pants length is 13" and sleeves 13" from shoulders. 	Victorian era child's black silk taffeta coat (mourning) Flared fit, 35" across chest, 27" long from shoulder. Sleeeves 16" long. large, cape-like collar, wide tucks on each side in front, stitched to waist, then open and flared to hemline. Four tucks in back, also open and flared at hem. The tucks are repeated on sleeves. 6 m-o-p buttons. Light beige cotton lining with inverted tucks. Very good condition. The lining is also very good and strong, but soiling on lining from wear. 	Christening gown has sleeveless creamsatin slip with lace trim on neck and fully gathered net overdress, 2 rows of lace down front, lace trim neck and sleeves and 3 rows of lace trim ruffles. The overdress buttons down the back for 10", then loose and open, revealing the satin under slip. The palest pink ribbon down front and on the sleeves. 	38" long cotton lawn christening gown has yoke of 6 tucks in front and back and 1" crochet around yoke front and back. Long sleeves have crochet trim and drawstring at wrists. Elaborate crochet trim at bottom. There are 2 buttons in back below neck. Measuring from bottom of yoke: 18" chest, sleeves 8" around. Condition is very good.
