patterned ivory silk, 2 rosette trim, slightly upturned brim. 19 1/2"

Gorgeous
and unusual lavender straw hat! Huge 18" across, 26" inside
crown. Cream, purple and green French silk ribbon around crown. Straw
is in very good condition, some discoloration on top, very slight, not
noticeable, although the underbrim is slightly darker lavender. Wired
purple velvet ribbon inside crown with silk lining beginning to split.

Stunning
large straw hat decorated with blue/white flowers and wide blue
plaid ribbon bow. The widest area, side to side is 17".,the crown is 2" high and 10" wide. The top of hat is in very good condition with only minor damage to the straw. The underbrim has 2 areas of 4" long of broken straw and one 5". The green ruched chiffon has some tears and the silk lining is shattered. It sounds like a lot of damage, however, when worn, I don't think it would be noticeable since the flaws are on the underside. It is a beautiful hat. 1860's
-70's hat is very beautiful and the condition is excellent with
the exception of some wear to the black velvet ribbon. Black glass beading, , beige and peach velvet flowers peek out among the black flowers, ribbon and ostrich feathers. Below the beading is beige lacy net trimmed in black that frames the face and continues to line the hat. This has been in my personal collection for many years. A medium pink or fuschia velvet teens' era hat is in
excellent condition. The brim is 4" wide, measuring 16" across. The crown is 26" around. A band of black velvet surrounds the crown, as does white feathers and a narrow band of fur. Some of the white feathers are gone. The underbrim is black velvet, with a 3/4" band of the fuschia. Lining is original , black, silky fabric and is intact. Colorful hats are difficult to find.
