detail. A wide
row of black lace over mauve chiffon covers the neck and two wide lace
flounces over the satin on right side and another on the left side.
Intricate passementerie trim further enhances the front. The sleeve
cuffs repeat the black lace over mauve chiffon. The patterned satin is
lovely. The shoulders have puffs over the sleeves. The neck is slightly higher in back . A very large black satin bow in back extends vertically below waist. lots of detail. Rounded collar, pleated and lace edged jabot flounced
over 5 crochet buttons. Four tucks are on each side of the jabot and 4 in back. The long sleeves have cuffs that match the collar and have 4 crochet buttons on each turn back cuff. There is an attached string tie at center back to adjust the waist. A beautiful and well made blouse. It has been laundered and is in good condition. A very light stain and a pinhole in back. There is slight wear on a small area on right side of the collar, doesn't detract. A light stain beneath the jabot that is hidden beneath the flounce. 38" bust, 44" waist (to be adjusted with the attached tie) 13" across shoulders, 23 1/2" sleeve length, 22" front length and 20" back length. C.1904 Ornately decorated waist
has apricot, green, and beige passementerie trim on the high neck,
yoke, front and back and sleeve cuffs. The high neck has unusual shape. Also, tiny, colorful squares cover the lace. The shoulders have wide lace that overlaps the sleeves. The long sleeves combine lace and colorful squares. Very ornate. The condition of the lace is very good, could use a soaking. There is a light brown area in the center of the lace just beneath the yoke. The silk lining has some splits. The lining should be removed. cream color, drop shoulders.
Elegant irish crochet with tiny danging crochet balls trims the neck,
sleeves, front hemline. The back hemline has irish lace trim also, but no crochet balls. The lace is repeated, 3" wide from under arms to bottom of jacket. The embroidery on the jacket is overlayed on the lace in some areas. Would look great over a cami. Tiny hooks in front to close on the narrow lace edging if needed. Measures 19" across the front bust area and 22" across the back, laying flat. 15" length. Very good condition. One tiny 1" mend near underarm, not noticeable. The large fringed collar is not attached. The trim on the collar is
pink, blue and cream textured ribbon with blue fringe. The condition of
the bodice and collar is very good. There are underarm stains on the
cotton lining, otherwise the lining is in good condition and the lining
underarm staining is not noticeable on the plaid fabric. The left
underarm has slight fraying. Hook/eye closures on the bodice front.

ornately decorated with lace insertions and multiple pin tucks. The
sleeves each have two lace inserts also, from shoulders to cuffs and a
baby button on each cuff. The back has lace inserts and 22 pin tucks. Button closures in back. This amazing "pidgeon" front waist is in very good condition. There are several scattered pinholes that I had to search closely to see. It is a large size, up to 52" bust due to the fullness in front . The shoulders are 17" across, the front length is 22 1/2", back length is 19". Sleeves length is 24", circumference of 18". The high neck 13" on top and lower, 16" A rare size. size. The unique treatment of the decorative beadwork adorning both sides of the skirt. A wide double pleat features jet beading in a floral pattern in a vertical design with brown velvet inside the pleats. Three horizontal rows of bead trim on the velvet at hemline. The brown taffeta lining has approximately 1" tear, but other than that, I didn't detect any flaws. It is a wonderful and beautiful skirt and worn with a beaded cape or blouse would be outstanding! 28" waist, 44" long front length and 52" back length.
