Skating
outfit 1895-1900. This rare 3 pc suit of wool felt and wonderful
hat of beaver and velvet with colorful flowers on the over 20" brim!. The jacket has loop button closures. The skirt has lots of volume. This magnificent outfit is cream color. The condition of the fabric is excellent. The suit is lightly soiled. A very rare collector's item. It has been in my personal collection over 20 years. Extremely
ornately embellished pale blue linen and lace 2-pc. dress and jacket.
The dresss has high neck, lace inserts and wide vertical inserts of
rotating lace and linen panels all around including the below elbow
length sleeves. The skirt is A line, very full at lower area for lots
of volume for strolling. Metal hooks and thread fasteners in back from
neck to hipline. The jacket adds elegance and additional detail to this
unusual blue linen ensemble. It is open in front to reveal the lace
detail of the dress bodice as well as that of the jacket. The jacket
hemline has 5 points surrounding it, the front length 12", sides 24"
and center back 27". The flowing, full cut sleeves fit over the
slightly longer sleeves of the dress. Measurements: Dress: Up to 42"
bust, 27" waist, 16" across shoulders, 13" neck circumference and 56"
long. Jacket: 38" bust, 16" across shoulders.
The condition is very good. There
are several areas of the lace where the threads need to be re-attached , but not very noticeable and wearable as it is.This
outfit is very fancy!

Stunning
and elaborate 1910-12 ball gown. This incredible gown is heavily
embellished with wide black textured embroidered lace, long rope type
looped tassels that flow down the left side. Groups of 3 each fabric
balls dangle on the edges of the elbow length sleeves and are repeated
on the lower right side of skirt. The hemline is fur. The sheer black
silk top layer reveals layered cream satin, pink floral French silk
ribbon and irish? lace underneath. The floral ribbon is also seen on
the sleeves beneath the black sheer silk. The sides of the top layer of the dress have diagonal velvet stripes and ruching below waist. The textured embroidered black lace at yoke extends over the shoulders and covers the back to waistline. This lace in back is magnificent and is attached to black satin and forms a long panel train. It is loosely attached to the back of the gown so that it flows freely. The long panel is squared at the end of it. Button closures are concealed beneath this panel. The panel train is 72" length, about 10" longer than the gown. The cream lace at the lower area is from knee length to hemline and has the black fur attached to it .This is a nice size gown, up to 40" bust, 30" waist, 17" across shoulders. It is difficult to describe the beauty of the workmanship, there are so many layers of fabric and embellishments.The condition appears very good. It possibly has had some old minor repairs, difficult to know for sure. The cream satin lining appears to be stable, although not perfect. Some fraying of the satin around the button closures in back. It is a work of art, for sure. It has been in my collection for about 20 years. dress has lots of detail and a great size! Up to 47" bust,
30" waist, drop shoulders to 19", 54" long. Nubby textured cotton has
multiple fabric buttons and 2 small pockets on upper area. It has the
appearance of a jacket over a blouse with pintucks and net lining
underneath. The sleeves ar 3/4 length. The dress is one piece. The
skirt has overskirt with additional covered buttons with closures
underneath the buttons. The overskirt and the top have a vertical
pattern in the fabric, and the underskirt lower area has a horizontal
pattern, revealed beneath the overskirt. The underskirt is attached to
a cotton lining that lines the entire skirt area. A well designed dress and in very good condition. The fabric appears very durable. It is very nice. There is a small stain on hemline on right side. Three
piece Edwardian era beauty of soft handkerchief linen. Consists
of waist, skirt, petticoat, original fancy ribbon belt. Lace yoke and high neck ruffled embellished with cream silk. The blouse/waist is pidgeon front and has a peplum. The sleeve openings are part of the billowy bodice, opening from shoulder to waist and trimmed with the cream ribbon on both sides with a bow at shoulder. The arms just slip through the openings. A very unique treatment for the sleeves. The skirt waist is surrounded with tucks and the lower 1/2 of the skirt has 5 graduating wide horizontal tucks. Excellent condition. linen Edwardian suit, short flared jacket with pleats and
embroidery in front, pleated in back, huge, very full sleeves. The jacket is 17" front length and 14" back length, 13" across shoulders. Unique
long sleeve full length tea gown is a great size. 38" bust, 28"
waist, 14" across shoulders and 55" long.The V neck bodice has a lace
collar that extends across shoulders in back. The front mimicks a lace
bolero that is attached with 2 layers of net underneath, the net also
in back with a long panel over the net that extends to below
waist. 3 tiny pink bows over the snaps on bodice front. The cuffs of
the long sleeves have peach ribbon and wide lace that is pointed on the
hands. The bodice has snaps, also at waist and on left side of the skirt. The skirt is softly gathered and so detailed! The lower area has 3 wide tucks, the bottom 2 with lace trimmed edges. There are 6 areas of 9 each corded buttons decorating the edges of the tucks. Between these button embellishments is seen 4 areas of the most beautiful wide lace that matches that of the collar and the bolero. This is a beautiful gown and the semi-sheer fabric appears to be in very good condition. There is a 1" old mend on the back of the skirt just above the first tuck on right side in back that I don't think would be noticeable when worn due to the gathers in the skirt. Very clean and white. Edwardian
2-piece dress, heavily embroidered front bodice with scalloped
front opening and 3/4 sleeves. The center insert of lace matches the collar. The fabric is a gause like cotton. The back of bodice is not embroidered. Outstanding
Edwardian gown of the palest beige silky cotton fabric and very
fanciful multiple rows of lace on the high neck and yoke.A wide flounce of the most intricate French battenberg lace cascades freely around the bustline, back and shoulders. The below elbow length sleeves have wide cuffs of lace matching that of the yoke.Lace applique on each sleeve. Vertical pleats surrounding the skirt create a slimming look that has more fullness at the hipline and to hemline. The lower area of the skirt has multiple tucks in graduated sizes. The belt is not original to the gown, but is included. 35" bust, 25" waist, 14" across shoulders and 55" length. Very good condition and unusually lovely. Attractive Edwardian handkerchief linen day dress with lace trim. Four rows of lace on the high neck and inserts on both side of the front and lace gathers over the tucks, shoulders to waist, which also has 3 rows of the lace surrounding it. Lace also adorns the cuffs of the long sleeves and one row above hemline. A figure flattering princess style with a center double pleat in back below the h/e closures. Very good and clean condition. Incredibly
lovely cape or mantle loaded with dangling jet beading
everywhere High neck, entirely beaded, fancy designs all over. Two long front panels below waist length with beaded trim that goes upward to sleeves and then falls down in points over the sleeves with beads outlining the fringes. The bustle back embellished with more fringe and lace. Lace cascades down the front between the front panels. This has been in my collection for years and is in extra good condition for beaded capes of this era. I haven't seen a nicer or more elegant one. It looks perfect paired with the mauve brocade and beaded skirt , but is not original with it and is sold separately. The beadwork appears intact,but the silk lining is almost gone. dress of net, lace and embroidered flounces. Scooped neckline,
dropped waist, graceful, pointed 3/4 length sleeves. Multiple lace inserts and embroidery embellish this lovely dress. It even peeks through the net underlining of the bodice and lower skirt area. Snaps in back of dress and underbodice and h/e a waistline.Very good, clean and wearable. An area of small holes in the net underbodice, easily repairable, but not very noticeable on the outer side. A white, ecru or colored slip would look great underneath this net and lace dress.Up to 42" bust, 38" underbodice bust, 32" long waist, 47" long, 18" long from neckline to long waist of bodice. The collar, cuffs, front edges and bottom of jacket are all scalloped edges. The skirt is equally as ornate. The length of the skirt is a little shorter than usually seen. Elegant
one pc.1913 evening gown of beige satin, chiffon and lavishly
adorned with lace, fringe and tassels! The lace is placed asymetrically in front, draped over shoulders and with knotted fringe on left shoulder. The below the elbow length sleeves are also decoratedwith lace. The pleated belt is unattached.The skirt has a wide lace panel in center front, long draped panels on each side with tassels and tiny crochet buttons on each one. These panels are attached to the dress only at the top and bottom to hang loosely. More wide lace is seen in back with wide fringe near hemline. Another wide lace panel on left side bodice extends to waist in back. Stayed cami type bodice has cream cotton and silk lining. Net and cotton skirt lining. Label: "Gannon Martin Philadelphia". This soft linen dress has fine intricate details of
cutwork and inserts of lace seen scattered over the dress. The bustline is gathered on both sides of a center panel of tiny cutwork floral motifs. The lace and cutwork is repeated on and almost covers the long sleeves and slightly longer waistline. Eight beautiful and ornate m o p buttons in back. Exquisite 1904 cream silk

1 Detail 2 The high neck and yoke has ornate french lace, 2 rows of fancy rushing separated with beige velvet ribbon and this is repeated on the back of bodice. Full gathered pouter pidgeon style bodice and the incredible sleeves typical of the period, narrow at shoulders, very full below elbows and wide lace cuffs And 10 silk tassels adorn this gown! Two on each cuff. Long beige ribbon cascades from the shoulders with 4" tasels on the edges of the ribbon and two more 2" tassels hang from back of high neck. The skirt repeats the ruching and gathers with five rows from waist to hips and another at calf length. The bodice is lined with silk organza , which is in very good condition, but the neck lining has some splits, The skirt lining is the same as the bodice to hipline, below hipline is unlined. This gown has a lot of hand stitching. The original petticoat is included, although it is fragile, probably could be worn, but it is not in very good condition. It has 12" accordian pleats and 2" of lace underneath the pleats. The 2-pc gown is in excellent condition. Measurements: 34" bust, 24" waist, 15" across shoulders. V-neck insert in bertha type collar edged with intricate lace. The sleeves are 3/4 length. The skirt is softly gathered and two wide tucks below hips. Hook and eye closures from collar insert to waist and extends to left side, then opens to hipline. The loosely fitting bodice up to 45" and up to 30" waist. The length from shoulder to waist is 17", total length of dress is 62" from shoulder. Would best fit a tall person . The measurement across shoulders is 16 1/2" . A very attractive and wearable dress. The stripe design has a silvery appearance in light. Appears to be in excellent condition, no stains or holes that I noticed. 1914 era chiffon dress of the palest beige, almost a
pale lavender appearance. Long sleeves, low neckline, unusual treatment of ecru lace and lots of tiny white beadwork. Almost 1/2 of the skirt is beaded, also on the bodice. Fine workmanship and detail. Would be best suitable for decorating and display, possibly worn with care. It has been hand laundered. The dress has some flaws, 4 or 5 pin holes on left sleeve, a one inch mended area in back of skirt below hips, and two 1"x 2" areas of lace below shoulder needs repair. 32/B, 27/W, 13" across shoulders and 51" long.
