Wonderful 1912 linen suit is as elaborate as I have seen of this type of suit.
Just covered with embroidery and cutwork. The longer hip length jacket is slightly flared
and has back slits. It is 35" in length. long sleeves, no closures on jacket.
The long A line skirt is 43" long. A zipper has been added at a later time.
Jacket is 36" bust. Skirt waist is 24-25". and skirt length is 43" Excellent condition.

	Splendid and difficult to find such elegance in this size Edwardian gown. Up to 40" bustline, 29" waist, 17" across shoulders and 53" length.the creamy chiffon has modest square neckline outlined with heavy passementerie braid that is in a much larger design on the bodice. Almost 1/2 of the overskirt is embellished with the trim. The lining, gossamer sheer silk. Cummerbun belt is attached and has 8 decorative buttons in back. A double pointed split collar in back has a dangling ball. Some of the fabric is worn off on the little balls. The matching buttons are also seen on the side of the belt next to the snap openings. There are also snaps on the left shoulder and front.The long flowing sleeves have cuffs and open on the back side of the sleeves. Condition: Very good dress with minor issues: light underarm stain, some repairs right underarm and left arm and back of neck and shoulder of the silk cami type bodice lining. 	Midnight blue taffeta 1916-18 fancy dress with lots of detail. Square neckline has ruffled edged collar, below elbow length sleeves, cummerbun waist and ruffled edge overskirt. Cotton lining bodice, partial lining in skirt with blue cotton. Very good condition, very pretty. 	Elaborate, trained dressing gown, late 1870's, with intricate broderie anglaise in a ruched effect covering the entire front, collar and cuffs of the 3/4 sleeves. Front closures of concealed buttons. The back of white cotton has two tucks on each side of shoulders that create fullness from waistline to long train in the Watteau style, ample fullness for a bustle. 	Edwardian era very ornate tea gown in a great size. Entirely covered in handkerchief linen,multiple mixed fancy laces and pintucks. Tatting around semi-high neck with irish crochet beneath the tatting. So much going for this fancy dress, tiny white balls dangle from the shoulders, attached to 5 vertical lace inserts. Elbow length sleeves all lace and ball fringe repeated. Lower area of skirt all lace and ruffles. Hidden button closures in back to waistline, then h/e at left back to hipline. 	This delectable Edwardian tea gown is embellished almost entirely with various mixed laces in several designs. The full bust up to 40", waist 27", shoulders 14" and length 57". 	Early 1900 soft handkerchief linen gown.High neck and yoke of lace. Ruched, pouter pidgeon front bodice, elbo length puffy sleeves edged with pale pink satin ribbon. The skirt has 3 double rows of tiny ruffles and lower skirt has 3 layers of flounces. This is a one piece gown with a short train. Hook and eye closures in back. Stayed bodice has white cotton lining and multiple h/e closures in back. Old mend under right arm, some scattered small holes, mostly on ruffles. I had to search closely for them due to the full volume of the ruffles. Overall very wearable and just beautiful! A soft, very feminine look. A ruffled petticoat would be great for this dress. 	Early 1900 tea gown lavish with embroidery on front of bodice and back of bodice, at waistline, 21" on the lower 1/2 of skirt and decorating the below elbow length sleeves. In addition to this, many tucks on shoulders, sleeves and 2 large tucks above the embroidery on the skirt. The embroidered areas are scalloped, neck, sleeves and hemline. 	Pretty,dainty Edwardian era dress is the softest, silky, transparent handkerchief linen fabric. The inserts of cream ribbon and lace, high neck, tucks on shoulders in 3 triple rows, tucks repeated in back and on the sleeves above the wrists, at waist and 2 triple rows on the full skirt. The bust, 35", the elevated waist, higher in back, 24". Shoulder to shoulder in back 13" across and 50" long. Very good condition, very few minor pin holes, don't detract and not easily seen. 	Gorgeous Edwardian pale pink silk and cream lace dress (c.1910-12). has V neck, cream silk lining in bodice with lace overlay. The slender skirt has pleated cummerbun that is attached and has pleated bow in back. Skirt fits smoothly in front and slight gathers on right side. The left side has pleats that cascade down to a large bow and fullness beneath the bow.Very dramatic effect. The skirt has cream silk satin underskirt. 34" bust, 26" waist, up to 42" hips, 57" long. 	White organdy Victorian era tea or wedding gown with elegant train. A ruched neckline above a pleated and flared ruffle, peplum below waistline. Applied lace flowers embellish neck, front and back, also repeated on sleeve cuffs. The wide front panel of the skirt is covered with the appliques', creating a striking effect. A wide and very full flounced ruffle on lower area of skirt. Very good condition. This creamy color gown doesn't appear to have been worn. There are no closures in back. 	Gorgeous and rare size cream color linen walking suit, 1910-12. It has heavily textured embroidery and ornate cutwork. The edges of collar, cuffs and front and edges of jacket are all scalloped. Covered buttons in front have hidden snaps underneath. The embellishment is repeated on the lower 12" of the A line skirt. Up to 44" bust, 44" waist of the straight cut jacket, 14" across shoulders. The jacket is 27" long. Sleeve length is 24" from shoulders.(3" cuffs could be turned up if needed) The skirt is 28" waist and 40" long Thecondition of this gorgeous suit is very good and durable. A few very light tiny stains on jacket and 2 or 3 on skirt that are hardly noticeable and do not detract. 	Lawn dress is a small size, but gorgeous! Lots of detail, high neck, yoke and multiple inserts of lace and tucks adorn this dress. The 3/4 sleeves also have lace and tucks. The lower area of the skirt has three tiers of full gathered lace edged flounces. Crochet buttons in back to waistline, then snaps to hipline. This lovely dress is very full from hipline to hem. 	Elaborate Edwardian princess style dress has linen, crochet lace and heavily textured soutache, large crochet buttons. Crochet edges the neckline and insert on bodice. Wide crochet adorns long sleeves from shoulders to pointed wrists. Floral patterned soutache covers the bodice front and back. Two wide inserts flow down front with 4 large crochet buttons in the center below the elevated waistline. Hook/eye closures in back. The skirt has flare in the back. 	Elaborate teens era evening gown, very colorful and lovely, even with a few flaws! Gold boullion type heavy trim with glass beaded dangles, grey with gold tone tips decorate the shoulders and back.The heavy lace continues to knee length. Centered between the lace are 34 silk satin covered buttons with loops Hook and eye fastners are concealed under the buttons. The cream satin has amethyst color tulle over the long waist and 3/4 length sleeves with a band of black velvet., the velvet band also at bottom of waist and 3" on the skirt at the weighted hem. A corsage of colorful balls on left of waist. The delicate amethyst tulle has some tears. The skirt has some stains in back and larger light ones on left side. The cream satin appears to be in strong , durable condition. It is just the tulle, as shown and the stains. 	Very elegant 'teens to 20's full length, sleeveless gown. Front and back scooped neckline. Black satin underdress and over layer of chantilly lace with another layer of tulle ove the lace on the dropped waist bodice. The chantilly lace is open on both sides as seen in picture. Bugle beads and sequins on the shoulders and down the ope sides of the tulle on bodice. Sequins decorate the waistline , having beads at front waist with a long loop of beads on right side extending to knee length. The hem of the skirt is weighted. Label: "Weissfnboa? & Kay Inc. lynx crepe" Very good condition, a few beads migh need to be re-attached, very wearable. Snaps and h/e on right side. This is a very nice dress. 	1890's opulent black satin reception or evening 2-pc gown with pink high neck insert embellished with jet beading. On each side of the pink insert, the jacket has 3" wide jet beading that extends from shoulder to waist, which is also covered with the beading and two 5" long drops from center of waistline. This is very lavish, but the focal point of this gown is the heavily embellished swags and drops of beadwork on the back of the bodice. Please see close-up pictures of the back. It is covered with various designs of the jet. The beadwork is in very good condition, I didn't notice any falling off. The long sleeves are double puffed and ruched, ending with a single strand of beads on the cuffs. The trained skirt is pleated all around , very voluminous at bottom with beading all around in swags except for the center panel. Measurements : Bust 38", Waist 27", shoulders 15" across, Bodice back is 16" from below neckline, The skirt is 42" in front and 46" in back. The condition is very good, the satin is strong. The net on the pink insert is delicate in some areas, but appears stable. The lining is cotton twill. Label on petersham is "J F Chace, Providence, R.I. High neck, tucks, lace inserts and a loosely attached very ornate lace with medallions drapes over shoulders and forms a V in front and back. Below this is 2 rows of horizontal lace inserts . Handkerchief linen pouter pidgeon type bodice has attached tie to adjust to desired size that can be worn in or out.
